✓ Türk Koçanlı (Turkish Deed)
These are the title deeds of Turkish Cypriots before 1974.
✓ Eşdeğer Koçanlı (Exchange Deed) These title deeds belong to the Greeks before 1974 and are now being purchased by Turkish Cypriot refugees from the TRNC government in exchange for the properties they left in the south
✓ Tahsis Koçanlı Koçan (Allocation Deed) These are the real estate titles given by the TRNC State as a reward for success in military missions or for the people who came from Turkey after 1974 to come and settle in the country. It is under state guarantee.

Types of Koçans in TRNC You Must Know
The word “Koçan” is equivalent to a Title Deed. It is an official document stating the ownership of the immovable property.
